Salary: USD 305,000 - 385,000 / annual
Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager to own the Claude Marketplace end-to-end, a new ecosystem platform connecting builders (partners) and buyers (customers). The role involves designing and launching a marketplace that drives partner stickiness, higher contract value, and customer activation and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the Marketplace product end-to-end for both partners and customers, from onboarding and listing through purchase and billing
- Designing commercial workflows from first principles to scale and meet partners' and customers' finance, audit, and compliance requirements
- Shaping business strategy and commercial incentives with Business Development, Finance, and Legal teams, then building them into the product
- Serving as the product voice partners interact with, translating signals from partners, customers, and field teams into a roadmap
- Defining Marketplace success metrics and measurement frameworks
You'll work closely with the Marketplace team (which owns partner and customer relationships and commercial motion) and collaborate with other product and engineering teams. The role offers significant opportunity to define and build an experience tailored for an AI-native world.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have owned a product end-to-end, including operational workflows, and were accountable for its outcomes
- Have built with or shipped on top of large language models and used them to improve product experience
- Have led cross-functional work where most dependent teams didn't report to you, and earned their trust quickly
- Can present to executives at partner companies and represent Anthropic well
- Write clearly enough that engineers, executives, and external partners can each understand your tradeoffs
- Care about Anthropic's mission and building an ecosystem where companies building on Claude grow alongside it
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Active role in a marketplace, app store, or partner ecosystem (platform or partner side)
- Taken a product from zero to one where users, product, and economics all had to be worked out simultaneously
- Go-to-market instincts: understanding co-sell motions, partner programs, and platform economics in enterprise software
- Experience or familiarity with high-growth AI-native companies, their business models, and growth vectors
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a field relevant to the role.
