Justworks is a platform helping small businesses manage HR, payroll, and benefits. The Benefits team builds intuitive experiences that simplify health insurance, wealth benefits, and perks offerings—enabling small businesses to attract and retain talent while promoting employee well-being.
As Product Manager of Benefits, you will own the roadmap for a core product area, driving high-impact initiatives from discovery through delivery. You'll balance customer-facing product concerns with internal platform needs, ensuring solutions meet Justworks' quality and scalability standards.
Key responsibilities include: demonstrating ownership of shipped products; shaping strategy and roadmap for key Benefits initiatives; articulating compelling business impact to stakeholders; partnering deeply with engineering to investigate and prioritize issues; building strong cross-functional relationships; and contributing to team problem-solving and ceremonies.
You'll operate independently within your scope, making decisions backed by research and clear reasoning. You'll remove obstacles for your team, develop camaraderie, and ensure high-quality output aligned with business objectives.
Required: minimum 2 years of product management experience in modern technology, or equivalent background in software engineering, data science, or business analytics. You'll need strong problem-solving skills, deep user empathy, excellent persuasion and advocacy abilities, and a commitment to understanding Justworks' business model through customer and prospect interviews.
Desirable: strong technical acumen and prior experience in highly regulated domains (fintech, healthcare).
