Zencargo is building intelligent supply chain software that combines global freight forwarding (ocean, air, road, rail) with Luca, an AI co-pilot, to deliver real-time visibility, exception management, and competitive advantage for global shippers. The company is digitizing and automating complex logistics processes that still rely heavily on manual work, emails, and spreadsheets. You will own a meaningful product area end-to-end, from problem discovery through delivery, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. This is a strategic role with significant autonomy—you will shape the problems your squad works on, challenge assumptions, and provide clear recommendations on investment priorities. Potential product areas include booking and shipment workflows, purchase-order management, customer visibility, operational automation, exception management, and AI-powered productivity features. Key responsibilities: - Own the vision, priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for your product area, balancing customer value, operational impact, commercial priorities, and technical complexity. - Lead discovery and prioritization for complex customer and operational problems using user research, product data, market insight, and commercial context. - Work closely with engineers and designers throughout discovery, solution design, and delivery without heavy hand-offs or excessive documentation. - Map and redesign freight and operational processes to identify opportunities for technology, automation, and AI. - Define success measures before development and use product data, customer feedback, and operational insight to assess outcomes. - Take responsibility for initiatives beyond launch, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement based on evidence. - Facilitate alignment across product, engineering, design, operations, commercial, and leadership teams. - Contribute to broader product strategy advancing the vision of intelligent supply chains. - Use AI tools as part of daily product practice to improve research, analysis, prototyping, communication, and delivery. Success milestones: In 30 days, build understanding of customers, operations, platform, and strategy while establishing trusted relationships. In 90 days, take clear ownership of a product area, validate high-priority problems, establish measurable outcomes, and lead meaningful initiatives into delivery. In six months, demonstrate measurable progress against customer, operational, or commercial outcomes such as increased adoption, reduced manual work, faster workflows, or improved reliability. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience as a Product Manager with a track record of shipping impactful software products or features, ideally in SaaS, logistics, supply chain technology, or operationally complex environments. - Experience owning a product area or complex problem space, not just managing a backlog or coordinating delivery. - Strong product judgment with ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between customer value, operational impact, commercial priorities, and technical complexity. - Strong user research, data analysis, process mapping, and facilitation skills. - Experience working closely with engineers and designers throughout discovery, solution design, and delivery without heavy hand-offs or excessive documentation. - Recent, hands-on experience using modern AI tools to improve product discovery, research, analysis, prototyping, specification, or delivery, plus experience contributing to an AI-enabled product or feature. - Confidence working directly with senior leaders, communicating complex issues clearly, and influencing decisions through evidence, product insight, and sound judgment. - Comfort operating with ambiguity, challenging established processes, and adapting approach as new information emerges. - Versatile, hands-on working style with ability to move between strategic thinking, detailed discovery, stakeholder alignment, and supporting delivery. Nice-to-haves: Domain knowledge in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain; experience in startup, scale-up, or fast-growth technology environment; experience building products for operational users as well as external customers; familiarity with ThoughtSpot or similar analytics and business intelligence tools.
