Salary: CAD 70,000 - 90,000 / annual
MedEssist is seeking a Product Manager to join its team in Toronto on a hybrid basis (2 days/week in office). MedEssist develops a comprehensive business, clinical, and workflow platform for pharmacies, serving over 800 pharmacies across Canada and the US. The company is a University of Toronto and Google Accelerator-backed startup with a team where over half are healthcare professionals. MedEssist has launched innovative features including Intelligent IVR, On-Demand Rx Deliveries, Pharmacy AI, and Google Integration, and was recognized in 2025 by Betakit as one of Canada's most ambitious companies.
In this role, you will:
- Spend 1-2 months onboarding with the success team to deeply learn the platform and begin engaging with pharmacy customers
- Take ownership of testing and scaling new platform features as if building your own company
- Operate independently, handle ambiguity, and drive projects from conception to completion
- Collect customer feedback and collaborate closely with engineers to iterate quickly
- Manage user growth by conducting demos, onboarding sessions, gathering feedback, and providing support to new and existing pharmacies
- Challenge yourself to develop new skills and make bold decisions in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- You are a pharmacist with community, specialty, or long-term care (LTC) experience, OR a product manager with healthtech experience
- Ability to operate independently and drive projects from start to finish
- Comfort handling ambiguity and excitement about trying new things
- Willingness to engage directly with customers and conduct outreach
