Incision helps hospitals improve how perioperative teams access knowledge, learn, and perform. The company operates in over 20 countries, providing solutions like Incision Assist (instant access to surgical information), MySPD, and Academy (accredited education for sterile processing and perioperative professionals).
This Product Manager role reports to the Head of Product and combines strategic product management with hands-on product ownership. You will be responsible for deeply understanding user needs, defining and prioritizing the roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact product features. The focus is on customer-facing product strategy in the operating room, where reliability and workflow performance are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Incision's vision into a clear product roadmap reflecting customer needs and business priorities
- Act as the bridge between users, business, and technology, ensuring the right problems are solved effectively
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to align on strategic direction and portfolio priorities
- Ensure high-quality requirements and clarity for the development team, supported by Tech leads
- Engage with customers, clinicians, and hospital project teams to collect feedback, validate assumptions, and test new ideas
- Partner with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to capture and act on customer feedback
- Use data and insights to measure impact, guide prioritization, and continuously improve product performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure stakeholder alignment on product plans, launches, and updates
- Ensure domain strategy supports company-wide priorities and aligns with the overall product portfolio
Work closely with Tech, Implementation, and Commercial teams to ensure Incision Assist continues to drive measurable outcomes in surgical performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner roles, ideally within SaaS or digital healthcare
- Ability to write clear, implementation-ready requirements (user stories with precise acceptance criteria, edge cases, and data/API considerations) and engage credibly with engineers on architecture and trade-offs
- Proven experience owning and delivering a product end-to-end in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex workflows into elegant product solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable working with clinical, technical, and business teams
- Passionate about improving healthcare performance and helping surgical teams deliver better patient outcomes
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable: able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Healthcare technology or healthcare services experience strongly preferred
