Factbird is redefining manufacturing operations by combining hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI to turn raw production data into measurable factory-floor impact. The company is seeking experienced Product Managers to join its Product Management team, reporting to the Director of Product.
The role is hands-on and high-impact: you will set product direction, own roadmaps, and drive execution from idea through launch and beyond. You'll work closely with dedicated development teams, peer product leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders including firmware, cloud, UX, and business teams.
Three specific focus areas are available:
1. Production Insights: Build products that communicate complex datasets and provide actionable insights to different user groups. This role requires strong PM fundamentals and prior experience in manufacturing industries—ideally hands-on shopfloor experience or deep familiarity with production operations. You'll translate real production pain points into product decisions.
2. HW/FW and Data Capture: Partner with hardware/firmware teams to shape roadmaps combining technical requirements with business priorities. You'll manage the hardware lifecycle, ensure control of deployed fleet, and expand systems that capture data from field devices and inject it into the cloud platform. Knowledge of IoT connectivity, networks, protocols, and integrations is essential.
3. General Product Leadership: Define roadmaps, prioritize ruthlessly, and solve the biggest problems customers face. Act as the connective tissue across disciplines, clarify customer needs and jobs-to-be-done, drive continuous discovery, launch products, gather feedback, and own performance metrics.
Key responsibilities include: translating strategy into shipped products; leading cross-disciplinary alignment; identifying customer signals and needs; maintaining strong stakeholder relationships; launching and iterating based on real-world usage; and defining and tracking KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid Product Management Experience: Well-versed in PM frameworks and agile processes with a practical approach; leverage frameworks where they create clarity, structure, and speed.
- For Production Insights focus (hard requirement): Hands-on shopfloor experience with accountability for performance metrics. Collaboration experience with operators, process engineers, continuous improvement leads, and plant/operations managers. This operational depth is essential to translate production pain into product decisions.
- Continuous Discovery Mindset: Talk to customers constantly, map jobs-to-be-done, identify commonalities, and remain comfortable with ambiguity until the real problem surfaces.
- Strong Data and Analytics Instinct: Comfortable working with data and translating analysis into concrete actions.
- Natural Communicator: Speak the language of engineers, designers, operators, and leadership; adapt communication style to your audience.
- Proven Ability to Drive Teams: Set and agree direction and goals with R&D teams; drive execution in a manner where the team feels proud of outcomes.
- Eligibility for Danish work permit required; relocation to Copenhagen required.
