Otter is a software platform helping restaurants succeed in online food delivery. The company serves restaurateurs globally, from independent owners to large franchise brands like Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry's, KFC, and Eataly, with solutions that increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.
As a Product Manager on the Korea team, you will own product direction for merchant-facing products, including POS systems and admin tools used by franchise headquarters and store owners. You will also lead exploration of new customer segments, new products, and paths to product-market fit.
Key responsibilities include:
**Grow core products:**
- Identify critical problems for Korean restaurant operators through direct customer conversations, data analysis, and market research; translate findings into clear product strategy
- Own the product roadmap and make hard prioritization decisions balancing customer needs, competitive pressure, and business impact
- Develop deep competitive landscape understanding and shape product differentiation
**Find what's next:**
- Explore and validate new target customer segments where Otter can win
- Take new products from concept to launch, testing rapidly and iterating toward product-market fit or killing ideas when evidence doesn't support them
- Bring an owner's mindset: size opportunities, define success metrics, and make investment cases
**Cross-functional execution:**
- Drive engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver with urgency
- Define success metrics for shipped products and hold yourself accountable to business outcomes (adoption, retention, revenue)
- Demonstrate conviction to push for what matters and judgment to change course when evidence warrants it
The role is based in Seoul with five-day-per-week onsite collaboration, as the company prioritizes close collaboration for innovation and continuous improvement.
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of product planning, not just delivery
- Track record of 0-to-1 work: discovering new customer needs or segments, launching new products or product lines, and finding product-market fit
- B2B or SMB merchant product experience strongly preferred; restaurant tech, POS, payments, or commerce experience is a bonus
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills with ability to push for the right outcome and rally engineers around clear direction
- Native-level Korean and professional working English for collaboration with global teams
