Arca is an AI-powered wealth management platform rebuilding the industry from the ground up. Rather than traditional SaaS, Arca is the wealth management business itself—using AI to augment advisors so they can serve more clients with personalized, proactive service. The company has raised $64M in Series A funding from General Catalyst, Index Ventures, and Venrock, and is backed by industry leaders including the former CEO of Vanguard and former CFO of Schwab.
As a Product Manager, you will own product areas end-to-end across both the advisor-facing platform and the consumer-facing client experience. This is a hands-on role where you'll sit with advisors, operators, and clients to understand their needs, translate insights into clear priorities, and work directly with engineering and design to ship, measure, and iterate rapidly.
Key ownership areas include:
- Advisor and operations workflows: rebuilding meeting prep, follow-up, onboarding, and compliance work so AI agents handle low-leverage tasks and advisors can serve more clients without degrading service quality.
- Client experience: designing where clients see goals, portfolio, and full financial picture, and how they engage with advisors on their own terms. This is the company's first direct consumer product.
- Agent-first features: defining what AI agents do autonomously versus where advisors must sign off, and ensuring trust and compliance throughout.
- Specs, priorities, and measurement: writing clear problem definitions, tight scopes, and metrics to validate that shipped features work.
- Process and mentorship: helping shape lightweight product processes as the team scales and mentoring newer PMs.
Example problems you'd tackle include: defining what clients see first (balancing self-service with advisor expertise), measuring whether the "whole financial picture" promise is real (through engagement, consolidation, and advisor feedback), rebuilding advisor workflows agent-first (determining what agents own versus what requires human sign-off), and ensuring features generalize across multiple acquired firms with different tools and habits.
The team is intentionally small (about 80% technical), based in Flatiron, NYC, fully in-office five days a week. You'd work directly with the founder and Head of Product, and be part of a tight-knit group from high-growth companies like Stripe, Ramp, Rippling, Plaid, and Doordash.
Why join now: The company just emerged from stealth and is at an inflection point. The advisor-facing product is being defined as the second firm comes on board. The consumer product is a blank page with no legacy constraints. The platform is live and proven; the work ahead is scaling across four to five acquisitions this year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- You've owned a product area end-to-end at a startup or high-growth company: discovery, scoping, launch, and iteration. You know how to work within a roadmap and push back when evidence demands it.
- You build for non-software-first users or regulated, operations-heavy workflows. B2B2C experience is a plus. Fintech, capital markets, or wealth management experience is a plus but not required.
- You're AI-literate and hands-on: you've shipped AI features, use AI daily, and have opinions on agent autonomy versus human handoff. You can prototype and speak engineering language.
- You have consumer product instincts: you care about trust, simplicity, and feel. You know the difference between what users ask for and what they need.
- You're a builder who can coach: you're happiest shipping as an IC and willing to mentor others as the team grows.
- You hold a high bar because real money and real lives are at stake. You understand that "good enough" means something different in regulated financial services.
- You're someone people want in the room with: kind, direct, low-ego, able to give candid feedback without being harsh, and genuinely energized by a small, in-office, high-collaboration environment.
