Act Security is an action-first cloud security platform built for the AI era. The company addresses a critical gap: as AI accelerates attack speeds, traditional access management approaches fail. Act systematically shrinks the access surface across cloud environments by reasoning across identity, network, and AI access control planes together, enforcing deterministic boundaries on what people, workloads, and AI agents can reach—all through native cloud controls with no new agents or deployments required.
The company is early-stage, well-funded, and founded by repeat security operators who previously created Medigate (acquired by Claroty). The culture emphasizes winning, learning, and having fun.
In this role, you will own a product lane end-to-end, taking a use case from raw customer signal through GA and delivery. You'll shape how Act turns cloud configuration data into enforceable boundaries. Example ownership areas include external perimeter hardening across IAM and network, human access boundaries, application perimeter enforcement, and agentic application least-privilege enforcement.
Key responsibilities:
- Shape and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, translating Act's mission into a clear, prioritized plan
- Manage the entire product capability lifecycle from discovery and requirements through design, execution, and release
- Learn customer environments, threat models, and security workflows to ensure the product drives real operational success
- Gather and analyze requirements; write clear, detailed PRDs and user stories
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, UI/UX, security research, and GTM teams
- Deep dive into technical layers of identity, network, and AI access to make sound product and prioritization decisions
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate ideas, gather feedback, and inform strategy
You'll join a top-tier team with deep security and product expertise, backed by leading investors. The role offers real ownership in an early-stage company where product managers drive decisions, an AI-native environment, and a competitive package with strong salary and meaningful equity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with at least 2 years in cybersecurity, cloud, or application security (AppSec)—required
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security practices, tools, and frameworks
- Strong technical orientation with ability to engage deeply with engineering teams
- Proven ability to own an entire product feature/capability/module end-to-end, with comprehensive understanding of system flows and user interactions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment with a hands-on approach
- Background in network analysis, Active Directory, or cloud IAM—advantageous
- Background in intelligence, cyber operations, or security research—advantageous
