Applied Intuition is a $15B-valued AI infrastructure company powering physical intelligence across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. The company serves 18 of the top 20 global automakers and the US military with tools, operating systems, and autonomy solutions.
You will own Dana, Applied's agentic platform for physical AI industries. This is an end-to-end product ownership role spanning how agents are built, run, evaluated, governed, and improved. You'll embed with the agent engineering team and drive product decisions across the full stack: harnesses, sandboxing, evals, model serving, and memory management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the agent platform product end-to-end, from agent creation through production deployment and trust
- Work daily with engineers on technical tradeoffs and product direction
- Make build/buy/partner decisions across the agent stack with evidence-based reasoning
- Prototype and build on the platform yourself using AI tools
- Track the evolving agent landscape (labs, infra startups, open source) to keep the stack competitive
You should have hands-on agent experience: shipped an agent product, built harnesses or eval loops, or founded in the space. Deep fluency with the current agent stack is essential—tool use and MCP, sandboxing, evals, serving, context, and memory. You need technical competence to make tradeoffs with engineers, current knowledge of where agents are heading, and a track record of shipping fast.
Founder or founding-team experience in agent infrastructure is a plus, as is public technical work (open source, demos, technical writing) and experience building for enterprise or safety-critical environments. The role is based in Sunnyvale with an expectation of 5 days/week in-office, though occasional flexibility is available.
