Lumilens is building photonics infrastructure for AI supercomputing, including chip-to-chip optical interconnects and scalable photonic engines. The company is Series B-funded and led by industry veterans. As Product Line Manager, you will be an individual contributor supporting strategy and execution across high-speed optical interconnect solutions. You will partner with product management, program management, application engineering, and commercial teams to define product priorities, support customer engagement, and drive execution against business goals. Key responsibilities include: - Own and drive execution of the co-packaged optical solution product line, aligning product strategy, technical requirements, development milestones, and production launch objectives. - Partner with engineering, product, customer-facing teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to identify technical gaps, define solutions, and keep programs on track against launch timelines. - Lead manufacturing partner engagement to ensure completion of design, reliability, verification, compliance testing, and reporting activities prior to product launch. - Drive cross-functional alignment across Photonics Design, Hardware Design, Packaging, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain. - Lead internal readiness planning to ensure materials, suppliers, technical documentation, and operational requirements support ongoing customer program engagement. - Support supplier technical discussions by ensuring engineering and product teams have models, technical details, requirements, and decision points for successful design execution. - Partner with engineering and operations to ensure qualified suppliers meet component validation, reliability, quality, and production release requirements. - Prepare, present, and document technical reviews, product line updates, reliability reports, and risk assessments for internal leadership and customer-facing engagements. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field; experience supporting or managing optical product lines for communications, networking, or data transmission; working knowledge of pluggable optical modules and transceiver technologies including 800G platforms and emerging 1.6T architectures; cross-functional experience with engineering, operations, sales, and manufacturing teams; familiarity with product lifecycle management, market analysis, and customer engagement; and comfort with business metrics, product performance data, and commercial trade-offs. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or advanced technical degree, experience in photonics or optics, exposure to cloud infrastructure or data center markets, and familiarity with pluggable transceiver form factors such as QSFP-DD and OSFP platforms.
