Monday.com is building External Agents—a product that lets AI agents built on Claude, OpenAI, Copilot Studio, AWS, n8n, and Make work inside monday as team members with their own identity, permissions, and activity logs. The product is live with enterprise customers. You will own the strategy and execution for External Agents, tackling three core unsolved problems: getting enterprises to approve and adopt agents (overcoming procurement friction), turning one-off agent runs into repeatable weekly processes with proper context, and building a sustainable business model that works for customers, sellers, and monday. In this role, you will: - Own the product strategy: decide what External Agents becomes, what to build next, and what to stop. Work with leadership on pricing and packaging. - Build it yourself: prototype agents, MCP connections, and workflows before asking the team to commit. Build directly with customers and engineers, turning what works for one customer into scalable product. - Make external agents stick: transform one-time agent runs into repeatable processes. Make governance a reason enterprises approve agents instead of blocking them. - Work side by side with forward-deployed engineers embedded in customer accounts. You'll operate with startup scope and autonomy while backed by monday's enterprise customer base and resources. This is hands-on product work—you'll build, not manage a roadmap. REQUIREMENTS: Core experience required: - You've taken a product from 0 to 1 and can point to what changed because of you. - You've built AI products where the model or agent is the core of the product, not a feature added on top. - You've worked directly with enterprise customers, ideally in a forward-deployed or solutions role. Skills that make you successful: - Building: you build working agents and prototypes yourself using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or n8n. - Agent integration: you know MCP, APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and permissions well. - Building with customers: you can sit with a customer and build a working solution in the room. Nice to have: - Founder or early-stage startup experience. - Background in workflow automation, identity, or enterprise security.
