Translucent is an agentic AI platform built exclusively for healthcare finance, helping providers manage $2.5 trillion in annual medical expenditures. Founded in 2024 and backed by GV, NEA, FPV, and Virtue, the company is deployed across healthcare organizations managing over $5 billion in combined revenue.
You will own one of Translucent's core product verticals end-to-end—such as Hospital & Service Line Performance, Revenue Intelligence, Supply Chain/Pharmacy, or Compliance. This is not a feature area but an economic problem health systems pay to solve, with a portfolio of products and AI agents underneath. You are the single-threaded owner responsible for the thesis, roadmap, product quality, and measurable customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and own the vertical's strategic thesis and roadmap, deciding which economic problems to solve and in what order
- Design and build AI agents for high-value workflows, determining what runs autonomously versus human-in-the-loop
- Drive real activation and adoption, ensuring target personas use the product on a consistent cadence
- Tie outcomes to realized dollars—revenue recovered, margin protected, manual work eliminated—validated by customer finance leadership
- Partner deeply with healthcare operators (CFOs, VPs of revenue cycle, service line leaders) to translate institutional complexity into sharp product decisions
- Collaborate with AI Engineering on accuracy standards and with GTM on pricing, packaging, and deal strategy
- Execute hands-on: write specs, build prototypes, run QA, conduct onboarding sessions
- Grow the team as the vertical scales and set the bar for incoming PMs
You bring 8+ years in product with experience owning a business line or product portfolio (not a single feature team). You have a proven track record moving enterprise products from low usage to genuine adoption with documented metrics. Deep domain expertise in healthcare provider finance or operations is essential—revenue cycle, payer contracting, service line economics, hospital operations, pharmacy margins, or physician productivity. You can take abstract concepts and rapidly prototype solutions for customer discovery. You're fluent with data-heavy products, understand data model limitations, and have shipped AI/agentic products in production with a clear point of view on trustworthiness. You operate with clear ownership, executive presence with health system leadership, startup agility, and leverage AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Gemini, v0) to move faster.
Role is full-time, in-office 4 days per week at Union Square, New York City.
