Anthropic is seeking a Product Finance & Strategy professional to own two critical financial workstreams: Model Monetization and Enterprise & Verticals strategy. This high-autonomy role combines deep financial modeling with strategic business partnership across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own model monetization end-to-end: build and maintain financial models connecting token economics, inference costs, and margins to pricing and packaging decisions across Anthropic's model family and API
- Serve as Finance & Strategy partner to Enterprise and Verticals product teams, providing financial lens on enterprise and industry-specific product development
- Build business cases for enterprise and vertical product investments: size market opportunities, model product economics, set pricing, and evaluate return on competing roadmap bets
- Partner cross-functionally with product, go-to-market, and compute teams to evaluate pricing changes, new model launches, and consumption-based offerings
- Analyze unit economics and gross margin drivers, surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities for monetization and product strategy
- Track competitive and market landscape for AI monetization and enterprise adoption, bringing outside-in perspective to sharpen strategy
- Form and defend points of view on monetization and product investment decisions, delivering clear analyses that drive executive and cross-functional alignment
- Collaborate with finance, FP&A, and accounting teams to ensure consistency with broader financial strategy
- Establish and maintain reporting dashboards tracking pricing, margin, consumption, and product performance metrics
Required qualifications: background in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or comparable analytically rigorous role; advanced spreadsheet-based financial modeling proficiency; demonstrated ability to own workstreams independently; judgment to form and defend opinions; genuine current knowledge of AI field and perspective on its direction; ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance audiences; passion for Anthropic's safe AI mission.
Preferred: experience in investment banking, PE, growth equity, VC, consulting, strategic finance, or product finance; operating experience inside companies; direct experience owning pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy; experience partnering with product organizations on business cases and investment decisions.
