Studio is Mistral's enterprise platform that helps organizations build, evaluate, and operate AI systems reliably and at scale. It provides infrastructure for monitoring, automation, asset versioning, and safe deployment across hybrid and self-hosted environments.
As Product Director for Studio, you will own the product strategy and shape the future of the AI builder experience for enterprises. You will determine how enterprises observe AI behavior, run complex workflows, version and track assets, and deploy safely.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and annual goals for Studio, with accountability for business impact
- Build and lead the Studio PM organization: hire PMs and stream leads, establish operating cadences (quarterly product reviews, roadmap reviews), and develop PMs through clear growth paths
- Partner with engineering leadership to scope, sequence, and deliver value by balancing quick wins with long-term platform investments
- Drive strategic customer discovery with your PM team
- Collaborate with Marketing and Go-to-market teams on positioning, pricing, packaging, launch plans, and adoption strategies
- Partner cross-functionally with other product leaders to ensure a unified customer journey
Requirements:
- 10+ years in product management with deep experience building technical platforms, infrastructure, or developer products for enterprise customers
- AI/ML fluency
- Proven people leadership: experience hiring and growing senior PMs, organizing teams around clear stream ownership, and building durable operating cadences
- Experience launching and scaling products
- Proven ability to align and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Ownership mindset and pragmatism: low ego, high emotional intelligence, bias for action
- Equally comfortable crafting strategy narratives and diving into metrics, UX details, or customer escalations
- Strong communication skills for executives, teams, and users
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments where priorities shift
- Self-directed with initiative to navigate unknowns and own outcomes
