Anthropic's People Products team is building AI-native tools to transform how companies hire, onboard, and develop talent. As a Product Designer on this team, you'll design workflows and interfaces that leverage Claude to solve real HR and people management challenges—from recruitment to manager effectiveness to career development. You'll own the full design lifecycle: discovering user needs through deep conversations with HR teams and recruiters, defining feature areas with meticulous attention to detail, prototyping rapidly (ideally in code), and shipping polished, delightful interfaces that showcase AI's potential. You'll work directly with Claude on genuinely unsolved problems, moving from prototype to production in days or weeks. Key responsibilities include designing AI-native workflows across the People Products portfolio, contributing to strategic direction rooted in user empathy, defining feature areas with exceptional polish, crafting beautiful UIs that build trust, collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape vision and roadmaps, and rapidly prototyping ideas to communicate concepts and build excitement. You should have experience designing complex workflows in enterprise/B2B SaaS or people products, a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric thinking and polished UI craftsmanship, a proven track record executing end-to-end on large products in ambiguous environments, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. Front-end prototyping experience (HTML/CSS/JS) is preferred. Ideal candidates ship fast and stay in motion, rethink fundamental UI assumptions, work AI-natively (using Claude Code and Claude Design), stay close to model capabilities, and elevate craft while maintaining speed. You care about pixels, copy, and edge cases while finding ways to maintain quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
