Text.ai is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the omnichannel messaging experience end-to-end. You will design how customers connect, configure, and manage messaging channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, SMS, Instagram, etc.) within the platform—from initial setup through daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the complete design lifecycle for channel experiences, from research and prototyping to pixel-perfect execution
- Design for reliability and clarity: build consistent patterns for errors, statuses, and edge cases so customers always understand what's happening
- Maintain design system health: manage Figma file structure and hygiene to ensure the team has an accurate, trustworthy source of truth
- Identify growth opportunities by anticipating user needs, monitoring platform changes from channel partners, and recommending investment areas
- Collaborate directly with product managers and engineers as the go-to reference for design and UX decisions
- Leverage product analytics and user feedback to validate hypotheses and measure design impact
You will work as a solo designer with full ownership of outcomes, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Qualifications:
- Senior-level experience as a solo designer, comfortable owning projects end-to-end from ideation to launch
- Proficiency in Figma and user testing/insights tools
- Strong UI foundation paired with solid UX experience, focused on intuitive, user-friendly design
- Ability to distill insights from quantitative and qualitative data and translate them into actionable design strategies and visual presentations
- Technical mindset: comfortable reading third-party API documentation (e.g., Meta/WhatsApp Business Platform) and testing designs against real API responses and live product flows
- Strategic thinking: deeply aligned with product strategy and business goals; skilled at identifying and addressing potential challenges early
- Proficiency using AI tools to accelerate workflow (drafts, prototypes, copy) and build agents/tools to reduce busywork
- Proven track record of taking ownership of projects from ideation through launch
- Clear, effective communication with stakeholders and management
