Robinhood is seeking a Product Designer to shape the international product experience, bringing investing, trading, and crypto to customers across the EU, UK, Canada, Singapore, and beyond.
You will design onboarding, trading, and money movement experiences that work seamlessly across currencies, languages, and regulatory environments while maintaining Robinhood's signature clarity and craft. This role emphasizes AI-first design—you'll use AI as a core part of how you think, explore, and execute.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design key features such as onboarding, trading, crypto, and money movement for one or more international markets
- Partner with product, engineering, legal, and compliance to navigate market-specific nuances without compromising a cohesive, high-quality experience
- Simplify cross-border and multi-currency concepts into interfaces that feel simple and local
- Use AI to explore ideas, catch edge cases, and prototype quickly while driving quality and direction
- Set direction and keep projects moving in markets with little existing precedent
The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
Compensation includes performance-driven base pay, bonus opportunities, equity ownership, 401(k) matching, comprehensive health insurance (100% for employees, 90% for dependents), lifestyle wallet for wellness and learning, employer-paid life and disability insurance, fertility benefits, mental health support, and flexible time off including company holidays, PTO, sick time, and parental leave.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex consumer products
- Regular use of AI in your design process
- Interest in global markets and cross-border financial products
- Experience working with legal, compliance, and cross-functional partners in a regulated environment
- Strong systems thinking, balancing consistency with Robinhood's core product against local market needs
- Bias for action: able to find the next step and move forward through ambiguity
