Clear Street Active is launching a new retail trading product with mobile as a first-class surface. The company is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the mobile experience from the ground up, defining how users interact with trading tools on iOS and Android before the product ships.
You will own mobile product design across key surfaces, working closely with iOS and Android engineering teams to ship features. You'll prototype directly in the real codebase using AI tooling, bringing a mobile-first perspective to design system work and ensuring patterns hold up on small screens. You'll also maintain cohesion between mobile and web experiences alongside the broader design team.
This is a small, collaborative team where everyone builds, gives feedback, and works together across functions rather than in silos.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep mobile craft: demonstrated expertise with iOS and Android native patterns, gesture interactions, and the details that distinguish good mobile products from great ones
- Shipped products on both iOS and Android
- Strong product design fundamentals
- Ability to prototype in the real codebase using AI tooling
- Collaborative approach: works closely with engineering, not around it
- High autonomy and low ego
- Some familiarity with investing or trading (from work or personal use) — not a hard requirement, but you'll need to get up to speed quickly
