Coram AI is a cloud-native video security platform powered by computer vision and AI, helping businesses detect threats, make faster decisions, and coordinate multi-site operations. The company was founded by ex-Lyft engineers with PhDs and has raised $65M+ from top-tier VCs including Battery Ventures and 8VC.
As a Product Designer, you will own the complete design lifecycle for a complex B2B SaaS platform serving security operators, IT directors, and facility managers. Your responsibilities include:
- End-to-end product design from customer discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity visual design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff
- Designing AI-powered workflows including natural language video search, custom alert configuration, interactive camera wall interfaces, and incident investigation tools
- Simplifying enterprise workflows around multi-site security oversight, role-based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination
- Building and maintaining Coram AI's design system in Figma, including component architecture, accessibility standards, and consistency across desktop and mobile
- Conducting direct customer research with security operators and facility leaders to validate design solutions and iterate based on feedback
- Collaborating daily with product managers and engineers in a fast-paced, high-velocity shipping environment
You should have 5+ years of product or UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end execution on complex B2B SaaS, data-dense applications, or AI tools. Expertise in Figma, design systems, and component architecture is essential. You'll need product sense and technical curiosity to understand constraints around live video streams, real-time telemetry, and AI detection models. The ideal candidate thrives in early-to-growth stage environments, is self-directed, and can execute independently.
Nice-to-haves include prior experience in video management systems, IoT monitoring, cybersecurity, or developer/AI tooling; familiarity with front-end code (HTML/CSS/React/Tailwind); and experience designing high-urgency interfaces for dispatch centers or operational control rooms.
