As Product Designer II, you will own meaningful design work independently across features and product areas of increasing complexity. This is a role for a designer with solid foundational skills who is ready to drive design decisions with greater autonomy and scope problems effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end design execution for features and workflows—from discovery through delivery—including draw management, budget tracking, and compliance surfaces that lenders and borrowers depend on
- Lead user research activities including customer interviews, usability tests, and synthesis sessions to become an expert in how lenders, owners, contractors, and inspectors use the platform
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups, choosing appropriate fidelity levels for each design question
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented with fidelity to intent
- Contribute to and maintain the design system, identifying opportunities to improve shared components and patterns
- Articulate design decisions and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders, framing rationale in terms of user needs and business outcomes
- Incorporate data and behavioral insights to validate and iterate on design solutions
- Support junior designers through informal feedback and collaboration
You bring 2–4+ years of product or UX design experience in SaaS or digital product environments. You are proficient in Figma and prototyping tools, working efficiently at multiple fidelity levels. You have demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end design for product features independently and understand UX research methods and when to apply them.
