Oscar Health is hiring a Product Designer to join the Product Design team, focusing on the ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) marketplace experience. In this role, you will design and ship tools that help employers easily manage health plan contributions for their employees. The Lucie ecosystem spans Oscar's direct enrollment platform for brokers, the consumer marketplace, and ICHRA tooling; you will focus on shaping the ICHRA experience while contributing to other areas as needed. You will partner closely with a Senior Product Designer and collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, research, data, and operational stakeholders to take features from discovery through delivery. Your work will drive a consistent, scalable, and intuitive experience across the entire Lucie suite. Key responsibilities include defining user experiences that support Oscar's mission to make healthcare affordable and accessible; becoming an expert on users and their journeys; owning the design process and driving clarity around strategy and alignment; performing user research and usability testing; designing visually compelling experiences; and contributing to Oscar's design language system (Anatomy). The ideal candidate brings a strong visual design portfolio and proven track record designing complex enterprise software, data-intensive platforms, or workforce management tools. You should work autonomously across multiple technical domains from initial research through high-fidelity delivery, balancing execution speed with deep user empathy. Experience with modern design workflows and AI-assisted tools like Claude Code alongside Figma is valued. You will report to the SVP, Product, Design, Data. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in Boston, MA, though future hybrid models at the hub office may evolve.
