Gusto is seeking a Staff-level Product Designer to own the design systems and user experience for pricing, packaging, and revenue orchestration across the customer funnel. This is a systems-thinking role with direct impact on revenue generation.
You'll design dynamic pricing and packaging displays spanning acquisition through activation and billing, ensuring customers can quickly and confidently purchase Gusto products. You'll work on invoicing and billing surfaces, building on the recently rebuilt IBEX platform, and design internal tools like the Promo Engine and Product Catalog to enable self-service workflows for Growth, Marketing, Accounting, Sales, and Expansion teams.
A key responsibility is partnering with the Revenue Systems team to define the target-state UX vision for multi-channel messaging orchestration—establishing systems cohesion across email, sales, and in-product/AI surfaces. You'll standardize how AI-driven messaging is structured, sequenced, and represented to customers, and determine what belongs at the platform level versus the channel level (e.g., AI Email, Rec Center, Gus).
You'll need to be comfortable zooming out to define multi-team experience architecture while also zooming in to perfect specific surface details. Strong customer experience and business sensibility are essential. The role requires active engagement with AI tools and fluency as the technology evolves.

You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing teams across Denver, San Francisco, and New York offices. Gusto supports over 500,000 small businesses and is building an AI-native design organization.
