Synthesia is the world's leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. The company has raised over $530 million in funding, including a recent $200 million Series E round, and is valued at $4 billion. Backed by premier investors including Accel, Nvidia Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, and GV, Synthesia is headquartered in London with offices across Europe and the US. You will own the Enterprise product surface end-to-end as a Staff-level (L6) Product Designer, operating as a senior individual contributor. Your scope spans workspace setup and governance, content lifecycle management, and analytics and integrations that drive enterprise expansion. This is the design work that transforms proof-of-concept deployments into seven-figure renewals for the largest accounts running thousands of creators across multiple markets, languages, and compliance regimes. Key responsibilities include: - Own the full enterprise design surface from problem framing through shipped outcomes and iteration, often in ambiguous contexts. You'll identify stakeholders, convene the right teams, and make independent decisions. - Design complex governance and compliance systems that give admins, legal teams, and compliance officers genuine control and transparency. This includes permission models and role hierarchies that scale across thousands of creators, audit log experiences that make compliance auditable, workspace setup and identity workflows that integrate with enterprise infrastructure (SSO, SCIM, MCP), license and billing models that admins can understand and manage, and analytics dashboards that show whether deployments are working as intended. - Develop fluency in technical constraints and possibilities. You'll understand APIs, widget architectures, developer hub patterns, and how backend systems shape achievable UX. You design in partnership with engineering, not in isolation. - Drive pragmatic iteration by scoping ruthlessly, building POCs to get early signal, and iterating based on enterprise customer feedback. - Set design vision for the enterprise surface and influence adjacent product areas to maintain coherence as the platform scales across SSO, compliance, analytics, and billing. You bring significant experience designing complex, large-scale product surfaces—ideally admin dashboards, governance layers, or analytics platforms where system thinking is critical. You have technical fluency: you understand APIs, integrations, service communication, widgets, and developer hubs. You can read technical architecture docs and understand the design constraints they create. You think in systems, not just interaction flows, and understand how identity systems, compliance regimes, and scale constraints shape UX possibilities. You operate comfortably in ambiguity, turning unclear problem spaces into crisp direction. You excel at cross-functional communication and design reviews. You have experience designing workflows where trust, transparency, and user control are central, helping users feel confident in AI-driven outputs. You leverage customer feedback to ensure products meet real enterprise needs around quality, compliance, and scale. Synthesia's culture emphasizes putting the customer first, owning outcomes and going direct, being fast and experimental, and making the journey fun. The role offers flexibility with a base in London or Europe-remote, 25 days annual leave plus public holidays, a generous referral scheme, work-from-home setup, and the ability to work from anywhere in the world for up to 60 days per year.
