Salary: USD 150,800 - 226,200 / annual
Harvey is an AI-native legal tech platform transforming how legal and professional services operate. As a Product Designer on the Design Systems team, you'll build and maintain the design foundations that ensure Harvey's product remains coherent, scalable, and trustworthy as it grows in complexity.
You'll work as a hands-on builder and trusted partner, crafting production-ready components, patterns, documentation, and reusable assets across Figma and emerging AI-native design workflows. Your responsibilities include building and evolving the visual language that supports the product, collaborating closely with product designers and frontend engineers to ensure components are intuitive and consistently adopted, and maintaining the overall quality and health of the design system through QA and continuous refinement.
A key aspect of this role is supporting AI-assisted design workflows by preparing components and documentation optimized for both designers and AI tools. You'll advocate for exceptional craftsmanship and consistency across every product surface, helping shape not only the system itself but also the processes and workflows that enable the team to scale successfully.
You bring 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer, Production Designer, UI Designer, or Design Systems Designer. You have exceptional visual craft with meticulous attention to detail, layout, spacing, and production quality. You're experienced building and maintaining component libraries in Figma (auto layout, variables, components, variants) and are curious about AI-assisted design tools and evolving implementation workflows. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, communicate exceptionally well, and are excited about learning through close partnership with design and engineering teams.
