Salary: USD 164,000 - 294,000 / annual
Figma is seeking a Product Designer to join its Design Systems team (Figma Pattern Library), responsible for building and evolving shared design patterns and components across Figma's expanding product suite. The role focuses on creating a consistent and approachable experience for Figma's users across multiple products.
Key responsibilities include contributing to cross-product design system strategy and decision-making; defining and communicating a clear vision for shared design patterns; collaborating with product management, engineering, and design teams to ensure consistent component implementation; creating, iterating, and refining design system components including flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals; and driving adoption and continuous improvement of the design system across the organization.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Design Systems designer; proven ability to work independently and collaboratively from concept to implementation; demonstrated success creating simple, scalable solutions for complex user experiences across multiple products; experience managing complex cross-team projects across organizational boundaries; and proficiency building concepts in code and using production-quality prototypes to communicate design decisions.
Desirable qualifications include passion for creating inclusive, user-friendly designs for broad audiences and experience mentoring junior or early-career designers.
This is a full-time role available from Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remotely within the United States.
