Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform used by companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for regulatory reporting (including CSRD), and drive real decarbonization.
You will join the Sustainability Platform group as a Product Designer, owning design end-to-end for one of the core platform teams. These teams help customers measure their carbon footprint and environmental impact, generate ESG insights and disclosures, and decarbonize their operations and supply chains.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own design from vision through execution on assigned platform team
- Drive deep discovery to uncover new product opportunities using customer feedback and product analytics
- Build product vision and strategy for the next chapter of the platform
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to execute and understand customer needs
- Leverage AI tools throughout your design process and in the product itself
You should have 5+ years of software design experience, ideally at enterprise software companies or in technical/complex problem spaces. Experience in sustainability or supply chain is a bonus but not required. You excel at systems thinking, rapid 0-1 product building, and shipping intuitive experiences customers love. You demonstrate strong design fundamentals, interaction craft, and attention to polish. You're proficient with AI tools for discovery and design execution, customer-obsessed, and excited about product and business ownership. Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City, with satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. This role is based in San Francisco and requires 4 days per week in office.
