Scarlet is building AI-powered infrastructure to accelerate medical device certification and regulatory approval. The company combines clinical, technical, and regulatory expertise with AI agents and software to help medical technology companies bring devices to market faster—customers have cut a year or more from certification timelines—while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
As a Product Designer, you'll shape products that make certification move at the pace of medical innovation. You'll design for both sides of Scarlet's platform: medical technology companies bringing devices to market and regulatory teams assessing them. Your work will translate complex regulatory requirements into fast, clear, and trustworthy user experiences.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and regulatory experts, and engage directly with customers to understand their workflows and validate designs. You'll improve existing products and help shape new offerings as the company scales.
Ideal candidates bring a strong portfolio of shipped products, sharp product judgment paired with exceptional design craft, and confidence turning ambiguous, complex problems into clear solutions. Experience with design systems, prototyping in code, health tech, or regulated industries is valued. You should have strong instincts for research, excellent communication skills, and openness to critique.
