Pogo is seeking a Senior Product Designer to be the second designer on the team, leading product design and creative direction for a B2B consumer insights platform that connects brands and retailers with millions of purchase-verified consumers. You'll design end-to-end product experiences for both an enterprise platform and a consumer app with 3 million users, crafting polished interfaces that showcase data and AI capabilities while establishing design language and systems from the ground up. Key responsibilities include designing core product experiences from exploration through launch and iteration, defining the product roadmap alongside product and engineering teams, sweating details across layout, typography, spacing, color, motion, and interactions, and maintaining high design quality standards in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll work cross-functionally with a small team of exceptional engineers and product thinkers, shipping weekly and gathering user feedback rapidly. You bring 5+ years of software product design experience, ideally from a startup or with AI interaction design background. You're proficient in Figma, design quickly and efficiently, and balance design vision with pragmatic tradeoffs. You're a design nerd with strong opinions about quality, actively studying best-designed products and designers. You use LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude in your workflow and have full-stack design capabilities—designing experiences from scratch and collaborating with engineering to bring them to life. You have strong product intuition, create experiences that prioritize simplicity and clarity, and are willing to iterate based on user data. You thrive in ambiguous environments, get energized by independent learning, and embrace the company's "Calculated Speed" value of iterating and shipping weekly rather than lengthy processes. You're comfortable designing things in a day when needed and understand that early-stage impact requires more than typical hours, though the company offers flexible scheduling and enforces a minimum 20-day vacation policy plus unlimited PTO. Pogo offers above-market salaries and equity. You'll shape design culture from the ground up, work with a co-founder who values design deeply, and have quick feedback loops unlike typical enterprise software roles. The role is ideal for designers excited by ambiguity, tiny teams, and the opportunity to influence a product used by some of the world's largest companies.
