Platzi, the largest technology school in the Hispanic world with over 7 million students and 4,000 companies, is seeking a Product Designer to craft immersive and impactful learning experiences. The company's mission is to make Latin America a technology superpower through training in AI, Cybersecurity, English, Programming, and Leadership.
In this role, you will lead the complete design cycle from discovery and problem definition through high-fidelity delivery and post-launch analysis. You'll adopt an iterative, evidence-driven mindset—designing, testing, and refining solutions based on quantitative and qualitative data. You'll work closely with Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Content Strategists to align user needs with business objectives and define product strategy.
Key responsibilities include contributing to and scaling Platzi's design system to ensure coherence across Web, iOS, and Android platforms. You'll apply system thinking to create cohesive experiences and clearly articulate design decisions using data and UX principles to multidisciplinary teams. You'll lead design sprints, apply design thinking methodologies, and use analytics and user feedback tools to inform and validate decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in Product Design with demonstrated ability to create user-centered design solutions
- Experience in mass-consumption digital products (B2C) or SaaS preferred; startup environment experience highly preferred
- Mastery of Figma and FigJam for interactive prototypes and detailed design assets
- Portfolio demonstrating not just UI, but the reasoning behind decisions and results achieved
- Proficiency in design systems development and implementation
- Strong collaboration skills with managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Experience using analytics and user feedback tools to inform design decisions
- Cross-platform design experience for desktop, web, and mobile products
- Ability to lead design sprints and apply design thinking methodologies
- Fluent in English and Spanish
