Plasma is building a global money account platform powered by stablecoins, enabling individuals and businesses to earn, spend, save, and invest across borders. The company is at the intersection of fintech and blockchain, creating tools for seamless cross-border payments and financial services.
You would join a small, intentional design team of three as a senior product designer. Design is a first-class function at Plasma, shaping product direction and technical decisions. You would own the Plasma One experience end-to-end, from core money movement flows to the design system, and help establish how design decisions are made, reviewed, and scaled as the product grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the Plasma experience: inventing new features and shaping how the product feels, taking ideas from concept to launch
- Leveraging AI as a core design tool to explore ambitious ideas, build functional prototypes, and expand what you can deliver
- Bringing ideas to life through coded prototypes and close collaboration with engineers on microinteractions, motion, and visual polish
- Evolving the design system with reusable components and interaction patterns that maintain coherence as the product scales
- Learning from real use through research, usability testing, and product data to discover opportunities and refine shipped work

REQUIREMENTS:
- Substantial consumer product experience: typically 6+ years in product design
- Shipped native iOS and/or Android work
- Meaningful contributions to a design system
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, showing details refined, reasoning, and your contribution to finished products
- Confidence with functional prototyping; ability to make ideas tangible enough to test behavior and communicate to engineers
- Understanding or writing code is a bonus, not required
- Sound product judgment: can explain how user evidence changed decisions, what you prioritized, and outcomes post-launch
- Comfortable making progress when briefs are incomplete
- Direct, thoughtful collaboration: clear reasoning, specific feedback, constructive disagreement, knowing when to work independently vs. involve others
