Cara is a domain-specific AI platform built for the insurance industry, enabling agencies, brokerages, and wholesalers to automate servicing, accelerate sales, and scale operations with a 24/7 digital workforce. The company is one of the fastest-growing AI companies in insurance, backed by top-tier VCs and founded by experts from Stripe, Blend, Strategy&, and Travelers. As a Product Designer, you will own end-to-end product design responsibilities across the Cara platform. This includes defining user flows, creating prototypes, and delivering polished production experiences. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to identify problems, validate solutions, and ship high-quality products. Key responsibilities include simplifying complex insurance workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences, building and evolving Cara's design system with reusable components and interaction patterns, and incorporating customer feedback into design decisions through direct user conversations. You'll also partner with the Marketing team to extend Cara's design language across the website, product launches, campaigns, and other customer-facing experiences. You bring 3+ years of product design experience, ideally from SaaS, enterprise, or AI product backgrounds. Your portfolio demonstrates strong product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft. You have proven experience collaborating with product managers and engineers to ship production software, and you've contributed to or built design systems with reusable component libraries. You're proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, comfortable creating polished 2D graphics and visual assets for both product and marketing contexts. You thrive in fast-moving startup environments and maintain strong attention to detail.
