Fyxer AI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to be the company's first senior design hire and primary product design voice. You'll report to the Group PM and work directly with early-stage PMs and engineers as the sole designer on a high-growth AI productivity platform.
The role centers on human-behavior-first design philosophy. You'll design interfaces for AI-powered features including real-time transcription with live insights, personalized AI draft generation adapted to user communication styles, and seamless web/mobile experiences. The work is primarily interaction design—making genuinely complex AI workflows feel calm, intuitive, and coherent across touchpoints.
You'll have significant influence over both what gets built and how the company thinks about its users. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading product design decisions with a human-behavior lens across the organization
- Running your own user research: conducting interviews, analyzing session recordings, and using insights to defend or evolve design decisions
- Working directly with engineers on implementation, using Figma and component libraries (ShadCN, Tailwind CSS, V0)
- Designing around AI-generated outputs and thinking carefully about UX implications
- Building design systems and internal tooling that align with engineering workflows
- Moving fast without compromising premium quality
Fyxer is a high-growth AI app ranked 7th on Andreessen Horowitz's top AI apps list. The company grew from $1M to $30M ARR with just 32 people. The culture emphasizes autonomy, velocity, and early senior responsibility with minimal bureaucracy.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years designing in high-growth, early-stage environments where you built structure rather than inheriting it
- Strong technical understanding to have real conversations with engineers
- Experience working with or designing around AI-generated outputs
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Lucide, ShadCN, Tailwind CSS, and V0
- Ability to run independent user research and use findings to inform decisions
- Demonstrated ability to move fast while maintaining quality
