Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 / annual
Cylake is building next-generation cybersecurity products and seeking a Product Designer to shape the user experience across their platform. You'll design for analyst workflows, administrative controls, and executive dashboards—translating complex security capabilities into intuitive, approachable experiences.
You'll partner closely with design, engineering, and product teams to extend the design system, contribute reusable patterns, and raise the bar on usability and visual polish as the platform scales. The role offers autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment where you'll make principled design decisions with incomplete information and turn technical complexity into experiences that security professionals genuinely enjoy using.
Required: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design excellence. You should have experience designing complex, data-heavy enterprise software for technical domains (security, developer tools, observability) and contributing to design systems and component libraries. You'll need to work autonomously in ambiguous startup environments, actively seek feedback from users and stakeholders, and possess strong visual design skills (typography, color systems, spacing, polish). Comfort prototyping in code or generative AI tools is expected.
Preferred: Experience designing security products, deep familiarity with AI integration in enterprise software, and experience designing dashboards and visualizations that transform dense data into clear, actionable insights.
