Salary: USD 174,000 - 245,000 / annual
Chime is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of critical member experiences across Growth, Spending, or Lending. This is a highly influential individual contributor role combining exceptional visual craft with systems thinking and product strategy.
You'll own the end-to-end design vision and execution for complex, high-impact product initiatives. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and Content Design teams to solve complex customer problems, shape product direction, and deliver elegant, intuitive experiences from concept through launch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own design vision and execution for high-impact product initiatives across Growth, Spending, or Lending
- Shape product strategy alongside cross-functional partners, helping define what gets built—not just how it looks
- Transform ambiguous opportunities into elegant, intuitive experiences that simplify financial decision-making for millions of members
- Design polished, production-ready user experiences across mobile and web with exceptional attention to visual craft, interaction design, accessibility, and usability
- Use customer research, experimentation, analytics, and design judgment to make informed decisions and continuously improve member outcomes
- Contribute to the evolution of Chime's design system while establishing new patterns that scale
- Raise the quality bar for design through thoughtful critique, collaboration, mentorship, and commitment to craft
You bring extensive experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products for mobile and web, with ownership of complex product areas from strategy through execution. You have a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, polished interaction design, and end-to-end product thinking. You're experienced with Figma and modern prototyping tools, understand design systems and scalable interaction patterns, and have a track record of influencing product direction through close partnership with cross-functional leaders. You use customer research, experimentation, and product metrics to inform design decisions, and you have strong systems thinking and exceptional communication skills.
