BinSentry is a fast-growing ag-tech company based in Kitchener, Ontario, focused on providing solutions for the agriculture supply chain. The company uses artificial intelligence paired with optical sensors to help feed mills, grain handling facilities, and protein producers enhance forecasting and decision-making capabilities. BinSentry currently monitors over 64,000 bins in real time across North America.
As Product Designer, you will own end-to-end product design from discovery and research through polished UI delivery. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and customers to translate complex agricultural workflows into clear, engaging designs. Key responsibilities include rapidly prototyping and validating ideas with customer and internal feedback, building and maintaining a scalable design system for consistency across platforms, advocating for user needs in product decisions, and helping shape how the product team integrates AI into its design workflow.
You'll have access to AI tools and are expected to use them to prototype faster, explore more ideas, and get working concepts in front of customers sooner. The role offers end-to-end ownership of design, the opportunity to shape a product used daily by feed mills and producers across North America, and mission-driven work supporting the agricultural supply chain.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Design
- Proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools
- Strong UX research skills and ability to translate insights into solutions
- Experience using AI tools in design process, or strong appetite to learn
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Able to work onsite in Kitchener, ON
Preferred:
- Experience designing for SaaS, IoT, or data-heavy tools
- Experience in Agriculture or AgTech
- Familiarity with feed mills, livestock production, or agricultural supply chains
