Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling individuals to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. The platform operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized house, aggregating diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities. You will own the full product surface for crypto markets within the US app, including 15-minute, hourly, and weekly markets, strike markets, and up/down markets across assets. This is a senior individual contributor role with clear ownership and high stakes: your mandate is to grow Polymarket's share of crypto markets and win against competitors like Kalshi.
The core challenge is resolving the tension between crypto market complexity (market structure, liquidity dynamics, resolution mechanisms) and the need to serve a retail audience. You will define and own the crypto product roadmap, coordinate execution with engineering and design, and make prioritization calls that determine competitive success.
Key responsibilities include: defining the roadmap for crypto market formats and trader-facing features; coordinating shipping and iteration on multiple market types; working directly with market makers to understand liquidity constraints and improve market structure; analyzing trader behavior and volume data to identify product gaps; running structured experiments on market formats, resolution mechanisms (VWAP, TWAP), and onboarding flows; tracking competitive positioning and translating insights into product decisions; and representing crypto products in cross-functional planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience at a consumer-facing company, with a track record of shipping high-impact features as a senior individual contributor
- Deep working knowledge of crypto markets, including major assets, market dynamics, and how retail traders interact with crypto products
- Hands-on experience with trading product concepts including order books, market structure, and price resolution mechanisms (VWAP, TWAP)
- Demonstrated ability to move fast in ambiguous environments, make prioritization calls under pressure, and own outcomes end-to-end
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort pulling and interpreting data to inform product decisions
- Clear, direct communication style that works across engineering, design, and external partners like market makers
- Plus: Direct experience working with market makers or liquidity providers on product or market structure decisions
- Plus: Prior exposure to prediction markets, information markets, or event-based trading products
