Nomos is building a full-stack power company to unlock flexibility in Europe's energy markets by connecting millions of homes to grid services. Europe pays more than twice as much for electricity as the US or Asia; Nomos aims to reach competitive price levels through solar and demand flexibility.
In this Product role, you will abstract the complexity of the energy market behind intuitive interfaces for both household customers and API partners. You'll own the entire customer experience across hosted components, customer portal, and API surfaces.
Key responsibilities:
- Engineer the entire experience: design and ship across customer-facing products and partner APIs, owning both the architecture beneath the interface and post-launch quality.
- Treat language as an interface: own the words explaining the product, from checkout flows to integration guides, ensuring readers have the information needed to decide, act, or build.
- Live the product: sit with customers, dissect their problems, and develop deep intuition for their needs. Use that judgment to decide what to build and what to leave out.
- Design the customer journey: shape how customers discover, understand, and use energy products (e.g., solar export, flexibility services), including estimating savings/earnings and advising on optimization.
- Design an API for partners: expose Nomos capabilities through coherent interfaces, precise documentation, and useful examples, giving partner engineers a clear path from first request to working integration.

Requirements:
- Your taste shows in how products work: you start with what users need to understand and do, bringing clarity to flow, information, and visual design.
- You've built something real: show a product, open-source work, or research you're proud of. You can explain the architecture, trade-offs, and decisions you owned.
- You write exceptionally well: you know what readers need to understand and which words get in the way. Your emails, product copy, and documentation demonstrate this.
