Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security serving over 13,600 enterprise customers including 85+ Fortune 100 companies, is seeking a Procurement Purchasing Analyst to support global manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring material availability, supplier execution, and procurement excellence across a rapidly growing supply chain.
You will monitor demand and supplier commitments, create and manage factory and contract manufacturer purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve shortages and expedite materials. Key responsibilities include maintaining procurement data (pricing calendars, lead times, supplier information), supporting inventory management by monitoring supply-demand alignment, and assisting with new product introduction activities including supplier onboarding and material planning.
You will track and analyze supplier performance metrics and service levels to drive accountability and continuous improvement. The role involves supporting quarterly cost reduction initiatives through pricing analysis and supplier engagement, monitoring supplier allocations and capacity constraints, and partnering with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and manufacturing teams on business priorities including NPI and RFP execution.
Additional duties include generating reports on material availability and procurement performance, escalating supply issues with cross-functional coordination, executing procurement transactions in Coupa, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or related field, plus 3-5 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience. Required skills include understanding of supply chain processes, experience with contract manufacturers and global suppliers in technology/electronics, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ERP and supply chain planning tool proficiency, advanced Excel capabilities, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable qualifications include NPI support experience, supplier performance management knowledge, cost modeling expertise, and familiarity with global supply chain challenges including allocation management and tariff considerations.
