Dandy is transforming the dental industry by building an operating system for dental practices globally. We're seeking a Procurement Lead to scale our growing Procurement organization and ensure uninterrupted supply of production materials.
In this role, you'll own procurement operations for a portfolio of suppliers and materials, managing end-to-end purchasing processes including purchase order creation and management in NetSuite, supplier communication, and resolution of discrepancies. You'll review inventory health and demand signals to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, executing purchasing decisions based on forecasts and business priorities while partnering with Materials Planning to balance inventory investment with service levels.
You'll build strong supplier relationships, identify supply risks, support performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining procurement SOPs, identifying automation opportunities, creating dashboards and reporting for operational visibility, and standardizing best practices across the team.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, AP, Logistics, and Planning teams to communicate inventory risks and support new product introductions. You'll also mentor and train Procurement Agents and Buyers, sharing expertise and supporting team development.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or inventory planning experience in a manufacturing environment; strong ERP experience (NetSuite preferred); advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; and strong communication skills. Preferred experience includes demand planning, SOP writing, team leadership, and knowledge of supplier performance metrics.
