Novo is a Series B fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize small business banking. We're building a modern operating system for SMBs, offering simple bank accounts and integrated tools for payments, international transfers, and transaction management.
As Procurement Analyst, you'll own the end-to-end third-party risk management (TPRM) and procurement operations for Novo. You'll be the connective tissue across Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, and business teams, ensuring vendor requests move smoothly from intake through close-out.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the Zip platform for all vendor/procurement requests, tracking lifecycle from intake through completion
• Monitor vendor renewal alerts and coordinate with Deal Sponsors on upcoming renewals
• Maintain vendor and contract records (pricing, terms, spend by department) and identify cost-saving or cancellation opportunities
• Review new contracts and order forms for accuracy; run adverse media checks before routing for review
• Determine InfoSec review requirements and gather due-diligence documents (SOC 2 reports, penetration test summaries, terms of use) from vendors
• Confirm correct expense/procurement categorization for each request
• Chase internal stakeholders (Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, ELT) to keep reviews and approvals moving
• Coordinate contract execution via DocuSign and maintain fully executed agreements in Zip
• Partner with FP&A to ensure cost accuracy and readiness for Finance review
• Work with Deal Sponsors and business stakeholders to gather scope-of-work and data-access details
• Communicate procurement status and blockers clearly to all stakeholders
You'll need 1–3 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, or related operations roles. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, spreadsheet proficiency, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with procurement platforms (Zip, Coupa, Ironclad) is a plus. This is a hands-on, self-starter role requiring minimal oversight.
