As a Process Quality Engineer, you will support cross-functional teams to drive process and product non-conformance reduction through data analysis and reporting. Key responsibilities include participating in APQP quality planning processes, developing control plans and inspection plans, leading PPAP, FAIR, and FMEA/PFMEA activities, and championing continual improvement initiatives. You will work with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to facilitate problem resolution, validate product quality requirements, lead MRB and Root Cause Corrective Actions, and perform various types of audits (internal, part, process, product, supplier, and customer). You will also mentor and train team members as needed and support general quality improvement projects.
You bring either an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential or a two-year engineering-related college degree with at least 5 years of direct or indirect manufacturing quality experience (or equivalent). Experience in battery production, machining, and electronic assembly is a plus. You demonstrate strong facilitation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. You have excellent analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and guide performance improvements. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations. You are proficient in ERP/MRP systems (Infor Syteline, SAP), CAD/CAE tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required). You are willing to travel 10–25% as business needs dictate.
