Oscar Health, a technology-driven health insurance company founded in 2012, is seeking a Process Management Associate to join the Network Operations Team in New York. Reporting to the Director of Process Improvement, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving business processes across the organization.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive process analysis through mapping and data collection; collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities; developing and implementing process improvement strategies using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma; facilitating workshops and meetings to guide teams through process optimization; leading or participating in improvement projects from conception through implementation; monitoring process performance using metrics and analytics; and presenting findings and recommendations to management.
You will work closely with Technology, Product, and Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and stay current with industry best practices in process management. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive organizational efficiency improvements.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience, 3+ years in process management or process improvement, 2+ years with methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or BPMN, and 2+ years of end-to-end process management and mapping experience. Bonus qualifications include proficiency with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python), a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
The position is hybrid, based in the New York City office, requiring 3 days per week in-office with Thursdays as a mandatory in-office day for team meetings. Base pay ranges from $96,876 to $127,149 annually, with eligibility for benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.
