FlixBus is seeking a Process Automation Specialist to join its Global Accounting Process Excellence team in Gurugram. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building automation solutions that reduce manual work across global accounting operations in Germany, Sofia, and Mexico.
You will be the first direct report to the lead of the Digital Process Automation function, working at the intersection of finance operations and cutting-edge technology. The role emphasizes building real solutions rather than documentation, with a focus on practical impact and end-to-end ownership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deploy automation solutions using Python, n8n, UiPath, and approved AI technologies, including workflow logic, system integrations, and exception handling
- Build AI-enabled features using LLM services (Claude or equivalent), structured outputs, tool calling, and agent workflows with measurable business value
- Create data processing pipelines using Python and SQL for reconciliations, validations, data transformations, and operational controls
- Integrate enterprise systems via REST APIs, JSON, databases, and connectors to automate end-to-end processes with systems like Oracle Fusion
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to accelerate prototyping, testing, and deployment
- Own production readiness by implementing proper testing, access management, error handling, logging, and audit trails
- Maintain and improve delivered solutions, coordinating with platform, security, and tech teams as needed
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership end-to-end, and is excited to build something from the ground up. You should have hands-on technical skills in automation and scripting, comfort with AI/ML concepts, and a passion for solving real operational problems.
