Stampli is building AI-native finance software grounded in real financial workflows. We seek a Principal UX Expert to develop deep understanding of our users—finance teams, procurement, reimbursement, and card-holding employees across the business, plus the executives who decide whether to buy.
This is a senior individual-contributor role reporting to the VP of Product. You will be a leading source of US customer insight inside Product, positioned close to the market, Sales, and Customer Success. You will serve as a trusted partner to Product Managers and the design team, working alongside design leadership to raise the bar on how deeply we understand users and decision-makers.
Your primary impact comes from sharp customer insight, strong product judgment, and the ability to challenge and coach teams around you. You will ensure we understand personas and problems before solutions are designed, asking the right questions early and catching UX gaps before Design Review. While this is not primarily a production-design role, you may work hands-on with wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts when that is the most effective way to test ideas or improve solutions.
You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between user research, product strategy, and design execution, ensuring that user needs and business objectives are aligned throughout the product development process.
