Delinea is seeking a Principal UX Designer to lead design strategy and execution for a significant product area within its identity security platform. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on setting design direction, mentoring junior designers, and elevating design practice across the organization.
You will own end-to-end design projects from concept through delivery, including early strategy, complex interaction models, workflows, and polished prototypes. You'll partner with product and engineering leadership to facilitate design reviews, ensure ambitious designs are scoped and feasible, and drive accurate execution. A key part of this role is mentoring junior designers, providing feedback on craft, process, and design best practices, while also influencing broader design standards and practices across the product organization.
You'll contribute to and help evolve Delinea's Design System, champion consistent and scalable design across the product portfolio, and bring emerging design trends and practices into the platform—evaluating what's worth adopting versus what's hype. You'll regularly present and defend design thinking to senior stakeholders and navigate complex, cross-functional projects that span multiple teams.
Delinea's Identity Security Platform uses AI-powered intelligence to govern human and machine identities across cloud and traditional infrastructure, data, SaaS applications, and AI. The company is backed by TPG and operates with a global, passionate team focused on making the world safer and more secure.
The role is based in the Seattle area with a hybrid work rhythm preferred, though fully remote candidates with strong experience will be considered. You'll need 8+ years as a Product or UX Designer with a proven track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end, deep expertise in interaction design and UX principles, strong leadership and project management skills, and high proficiency with Figma and modern design tools including AI-assisted design workflows.
