Salary: USD 149,659 - 224,437 / annual
Echodyne is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the development of advanced radar solutions. The company specializes in compact solid-state beam-steering radar technology for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft, drones, and critical infrastructure security applications.
In this role, you will have strategic responsibility for defining, planning, and managing complex hardware and software development programs. You'll lead cross-functional teams including software developers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, systems engineers, radar scientists, and manufacturing engineers to deliver innovative products that exceed customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering innovative products and solutions that advance Echodyne's core technology differentiation
- Defining, planning, and managing complex development programs
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering and research teams
- Tracking and reporting program status and metrics
- Driving continuous improvements in product development methodologies
- Leading customer and partner collaboration efforts
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical background
- 5+ years of technical program management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead hardware development programs
- Experience leading development programs with customers and partners
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead engineering and research teams
Desired experience includes embedded software and hardware development, PLM tools, project management software (MS Project, Excel, JIRA), Agile or hybrid methodologies, and strong communication skills.
