Voyager Space seeks a Principal Technical Director to lead the technical vision and execution of AI-enabled spectrum dominance capabilities. This senior technical leadership role combines deep RF domain expertise with oversight of AI-driven hardware design and simulation workflows.
You will direct the application of Voyager's Agentic Computational Engineering (ACE) platform to RF hardware systems and digital signal processing (DSP) development, overseeing how agentic AI systems compress RF hardware development cycles—from antenna design and transceiver architecture to DSP algorithm development and system-level integration.
The role requires deep familiarity with hardware, software, and algorithms across RF functions including communications, electronic warfare (EW), radar, and sensing, with emphasis on space-based active and passive RF systems. You will define and execute complex R&D programs while productizing outcomes into commercial motions.
You will join the Advanced Technology Development team within the Strategic Growth and Technology Organization, a specialized unit responsible for defining and developing Voyager's future technologies with focus on high-impact, high-ROI technology and product R&D. You will work at the intersection of Voyager's Spectrum Dominance portfolio and the ACE team—the group building Voyager's Generative Engine, an AI-native platform that compresses complex hardware development cycles from years to days.
This role is ideal for a technical leader with vision and fluency in how multi-agent AI platforms transform traditional RF engineering workflows, capable of bridging advanced research with deployable, mission-critical capabilities for defense and space applications.
