Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Principal Technical Architect for Product Management to help set strategy for product integration across hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). This is a senior individual contributor role within the Product Management Alliances team.
You will operate as a recognized technical authority both internally and with partner organizations, setting multi-year architectural roadmaps and identifying integrations that matter most. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop cloud integration strategy and multi-year architectural roadmaps across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Represent Veeam's strategic perspective in partnership engagements, shaping how partnerships evolve
• Facilitate cross-portfolio alignment by influencing roadmap decisions across multiple product lines and engineering teams
• Mentor and develop other Product Advisors and Product Managers, raising the bar for technical and strategic capability
• Navigate ambiguous problem spaces and provide well-reasoned recommendations backed by deep experience
• Contribute to industry events and partner conversations, sharing expertise in cloud architecture and integration
• Champion architectural standards across the organization
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex integration scenarios and critical customer engagements
You bring 12+ years in product management, technical alliances, or cloud architecture with increasing scope and strategic ownership. You have a strong point of view on cloud integration strategy backed by direct experience architecting solutions in hyperscaler environments. You demonstrate ability to lead strategy (not just execute it), with a track record of mentoring technical talent. Deep knowledge of cloud-based data protection, storage technologies, APIs, SaaS architectures, and AI-driven integrations is essential. You have exceptional executive presence and experience influencing VP- and C-level stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) required. Willingness to travel 5-7 weeks annually.
