CoMind is a medical device company developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to advance clinical brain monitoring and improve diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. As Principal Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead hiring delivery across hardware, software, and engineering disciplines critical to product development and regulatory roadmap expansion across UK and US operations.
This is a senior, high-autonomy role requiring someone who has built talent functions end-to-end. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy for CoMind's most complex, business-critical hires. You will translate ambiguous or evolving requirements into clear hiring plans, define and embed scalable hiring processes across geographies without compromising rigor or speed, and build long-term relationships with passive talent at leadership level.
Key responsibilities include: acting as strategic advisor on talent acquisition for senior/leadership roles; designing hiring processes that scale across multiple sites; managing stakeholder priorities and pipeline delivery; conducting structured market mapping for senior positions; running searches across hardware, software engineering, data science, and clinical disciplines; building proactive pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and community engagement; delivering competitive intelligence and candidate landscape reports; maintaining sourcing trackers and hiring metrics; collaborating with Talent Ops on offer workflows and compliance; partnering with People Ops on onboarding and background checks; and driving process improvement initiatives.
You will need 10+ years of in-house or embedded talent acquisition experience, including demonstrated senior/principal-level advisory work with leadership. Strong track record recruiting across hardware, software, and engineering disciplines is essential. Deep expertise sourcing passive, senior, and hard-to-find talent using executive search methodology required. Experience building or scaling talent functions, designing hiring processes, and managing multi-site hiring across geographically dispersed teams. Meticulous about data management, ATS hygiene, and honest reporting. Credible senior collaborator who understands hiring extends beyond offer acceptance and can influence stakeholders at all levels.
Nice-to-have qualifications include executive search or retained search methodology experience, familiarity with London and South West technical talent markets, and deep expertise hiring in electronics, opto-electronics, FPGA/ASIC engineering, and other deeply technical hardware domains. AI is fundamental to company culture; all team members expected to embrace AI in daily work.
